But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers, among you, who privily [secretly] shall bring in damnable heresies, [an opinion or doctrine in opposition to views or opinions commonly accepted as true] even denying the Lord that brought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth [Thy Word is Truth] [KJV] shall be evil spoken of.

But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruptions [2 Peter 2:1-2, 12]

These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you,

They have no delight in it.

Thus saith the Lord,

Stand ye in the ways; and see,

and ask for the Old paths, where is the good way,

and walk therein,

and ye shall find rest for your souls.

But they said,

We will not walk therein.

Hearken to the sound of the trumpet,

We will not hearken.

Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.
